Testimonials

Walking the Augustine Camino for Mary’s Meals with Andrew Kelly and a group of pilgrims from around the South-East was a really wonderful experience. The pilgrimage route took us through vineyards, orchards, ancient woodlands, and the many beauties of the Kentish countryside, as well as to many beautiful churches and, I admit, the occasional pub. Andrew was a wonderful guide. Highly knowledgeable with a great sense of humour, he led us calmly through torrential rain, blazing sunshine and every weather in between. He was a great companion for the week. Daily Mass; saying the Rosary in the rain; having time to listen and talk… it was an unforgettable week and a superb first pilgrimage for Mary’s Meals, a fantastic charity that brings hope to children in many poor communities around the world.

Walking the Augustine Camino – by Roy Peachey

Mr Andrew Kelly organised an Augustine Camino last year (September 2019) for a group of us from the Jesuit church of the Immaculate Conception, Farm Street, London. He met us on arrival at Rochester and provided each of us with the complete package of information needed to complete our walk to Canterbury. He organised our hotel accommodation, as well as visits to the holy sites en route. In addition, he organised for our luggage to be transported every morning to our next destination. Throughout our camino Andrew was there whenever we needed him, and he always gave the impression that his work was inspired by his Christian faith.  On the basis of this positive experience, I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew’s services as an able organiser and an extremely well-informed guide.
