It is possible to camp along most of the Augustine Camino except at Faversham and Aylesford Priory (where the cost of B&B is relatively modest). Some of the campsites have restrictions at busy times so it is worth booking ahead.
You can always combine camping with baggage transfer to keep the weight down.
