Camping

It is possible to camp all along the Augustine Camino.  Some of the campsites have restrictions at busy times so it is worth booking ahead.

You can always combine camping with baggage transfer to keep the weight down.

Campsites

Day One – The Friars – Aylesford Priory, Maidstone, Kent (on the route)

Day Two –  Camping Accommodation | UK | Hook and Hatchet Inn open April to the end of October (five minute’s walk from the route at Scragged Oak Road – breakfast in pub at the weekend)

Day Three – www.palacefarm.com/campsite-kent-downs open May to September (on the route, near The Chequer’s)

Day Four  – % Painters Farm Campsite Faversham open from the start of March to the end of October (on the route, before The Alma)

Day Five – Camping Canterbury | The Barn Camping | England open 1st April – 1st November. (10 minute’s walk from the Old Coach and Horses, Harbledown with views of the Cathedral).   Remember to book ahead.
